Norway in a Nutshell

Today we left Oslo early to catch our train to Bergen via the Norway in a Nutshell. The day was a combination of train, boat and bus rides as we explored the grandeur and beauty of Norway's rivers, forested mountain landscapes and fjords between Oslo and Bergen. One could feel the contrast of the rugged mountains, the rushing streams, the crashing waterfalls and the tranquil lakes of the fjords. It was all breathtakingly beautiful! The glass-like water reflecting the sky and clouds was surreal...

We arrived in Bergen about 9pm from the train station and were greeted with a typical Bergen shower. Thankfully we found our apartment right away and nestled in for the night. Tomorrow we'll start exploring this port city...
